Hey! The story goes on! After part V I'm doing a few of the record retouches, will be so boring, like adding grass, adjusting layers and maybe move some elements. I'll be back soon with part VI and I think I can start working on the left side and the background. Thanks a lot for those people that are following this little quest of mine. – What software do you use?
I'm using Photoshop CS5, with almost all default tools ands palettes.
– Are you using a tablet?
Yes! It's a Wacom Intuos and it's my precioooussssss 🙂
-Are you superman or what? How come you're so fast paiting?
This is because the videos are sped up x10 the real time. So 5 minutes video it's like 50 minutes of work for me
– I want to put it on my desktop! I want to download it! Do you will sell it?
Ok, this answer I don't know. It's a commission so I have to get into an arrangement. The fact it's that I will not sell this, because I'm working here with Mojang copyright stuff and they have to give you a license for that (probably it takes a lot of money involved) What I CAN do, and if it's ok with the guy who made the commission it's make it downloadable as a wallpaper or something.
– How long it gonna take you? I'm desperate!
I just almost finished the half of it, and took 5 videos. Probably will be 5 more or even more. I want to be satisfied with it!

After reading the article that @notch wrote this morning about the behaviour of the animals in game, I added the scene he explains in it (minute 4:10 of the Part III). I hope you enjoy this looong process of creating an illustration. At the moment there is no trick on this, I mean I recorded every part of the process, I don't know how long I can keep it, I don't wont you to get bored of it!

I'll record some parts of the process of this commission. It will be a huge background for a site. At the moment there is no plan to make it a poster or for sale (just in case you ask) but who knows! You ask, just in case!
