Miss Pepper Cat it's so nice and kind she accept my pledges and will help me with the color flats on the pages of WonderCraft comic!! Yay! That's very great news for me having her in the team will increase the rate of colored pages once I finish the drawing. It will take less time, so I can draw more!
She is a great and young artist, with manga influences that writes her own comics. If you are french, you are lucky you can buy a couple of books of her, if you are not, you can read a few online comics in english. I don't say anything else, meet her in this little interview that some of you help with some questions:
What's your name/nickname?
Easy! Miss Pepper Cat i have it from college
How did you get that Nickname? Why Pepper? Why Cat?
It is from a old anime called Medabot one of the tiny mecha was called Pepper Cat, i just found it really coo so I just put the miss in front of it, I find the sound great (and my chinese zodiac sign is the cat but I hate pepper…)

Sometimes i get boring of this nickname but i have it since so long now, so i put just mpc and pretend it's means mecha paper cat ^^'
Are you still studying? What did you study?
I just got my A-levels (BAc in french) in litteratur option art and after I make one years in a school about japanese and manga but it was not really great so i quit and now i have a part time job to pay my bills and I keep doing comics in the same time
From all the arts why did you choose comics?
Well, I always grow up with comics book (french or japanese) and I love them so much! You know the comics art it's really somethings amazing: you can tell a story with text and image in the same time in the perfect mix ever! Sometimes you can even don't put some text and tell the story just with images. I think it's the perfect media to communicate with people, because it's accessible for everyone, even those who don't really like to read. I love to tell a story and draw, create characters with a background story so comics it's the best choice for me (even if i write a novel once)
Can you name a few favorite ones?
Beck (harold sakuishis), Blacksad, Calvin and Hobbes, Eyeshield 21 (I stop here cause I love too much comics… ^^')
What's your usual way to start a new comic?
Hmmm… it depends on what I'm working on but for the most part of the time it's begin with the characters. I create the characters and they have their own personality so the story come naturally from them. ALETHEIA and Tell Me The Truth are the only ones where i did the opposite process, I've got the idea of a story and need some characters.
You have worked both traditional and digital techniques on your comics, which one you prefer most?
I would like to say I prefer traditional art but i get used to digital now. There are not the same feeling in traditional and in digital. the possibilities are not the same too so i try to use them intelligently. Today I don't really have a preference and most of my comics are a mix media.

What does she feel colour can bring to a comic? As opposed to just plain black and white.
This one it's a hard one! But I love the question. Most of the people don't appreciate comics without colors, in a strange way they think it's an unfinished work but I don't think it's true. The colors are great to put the accent on the volumes, forms of the drawing. With the colors the possibilities of change the atmosphere of a scene are really huge, but sometimes a comics with just black and white fits better on some story. (like frank miller works or the manga mpd psycho where the black and white atmosphere it's just perfect!) Sometimes colors is unnecessary, color for color is useless it should bring something to the story, universe.

I never played Minecraft i just now the name of the games XD so Sam show me the universe of the game! I meet him in the 24h comics in january when he follow my livestream, so we stay in touch after that
